MEMBERSHIP

• Join Online: Fill out the form below! Once verified that you have completed and submitted the application, you will get your membership card from the Post Adjutant.

• Join by Mail: Obtain an application from below. Print form OR obtain form from the Post Adjutant (email: sagaocc@yahoo.com). Complete form. Mail form and check made out to American Legion Post 197 for $35 to American Legion Post 197, P.O. Box 781, Zebulon, GA 30295. Include a copy of your military or Veteran identification (DD-214, Military Retiree ID Card, or Driver’s License with Veteran on the card). You will get your membership card from the Post Adjutant.

• Join in-Person: The Post 197 Adjutant or any other Post 197 officer can assist you in joining the American Legion and Post 197. If the Post Officer has the application form on hand (or can get access to the form), fill out the form and sign, show your military or Veteran identification (DD-214, Military Retiree ID Card, or Driver’s License with Veteran on the card), and pay by cash or check, $35.
